Where Production Goes Wrong
Weight is quoted loosely across mills. Agree GSM with a tolerance and verify it on the roll you receive, not on the sample swatch.
Shrinkage and skew show up after the first wash - test a full-width panel and agree the allowance before the cutting plan is fixed.
Polyester holds heat and static - agree an anti-static finish where it matters.
