Custom Suit for the India and Pakistan Market — Georgette with Chain Stitch Embroidery
We supply suit to South Asian buyers built for dry desert heat in Rajasthan and Sindh. Cloth weight, weave openness and colour fastness are specified for heat, humidity and repeated hand washing first: Georgette at 120-150 gsm, shade-matched to hold under strong sun and monsoon humidity. Programmes start at 500 pieces per style per colour and ship to Nhava Sheva or Chennai.
The failures here are predictable: color drift between lab dips and bulk fabric, and unclear responsibility when a defect shows up after washing. We lock the specification before bulk — weight, shrinkage, stitch density and tolerance — and prepare BIS so containers clear instead of accruing demurrage during Eid and Ramadan collections.

Import, duty and delivery
BIS compliance with IEC-registered import documentation is arranged before the goods leave the factory. We ship to Nhava Sheva or Chennai with the commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, and quote landed cost so duty and GST or sales tax are visible before you commit. Reorders draw on the approved specification held on file — which matters when you are buying against Eid and Ramadan collections.
FAQ
Do you provide compliance documents?
We can arrange OEKO-TEX, GOTS, BSCI, WRAP and ISO documentation as well as third-party testing reports for PSQCA Pakistani standard specifications, and we support REACH, CPSIA and Prop 65 declarations for the relevant markets.
How is shipping handled?
We quote EXW, FOB, CIF and DDP. Consolidated sea freight is the default for bulk programmes, with air or express options when a launch date is at risk.
How long does sampling take?
A first prototype is typically ready in 14 working days after the tech pack is confirmed, including fabric sourcing if the base cloth is not in our stock library. Revisions add about 3 days each.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Standard programmes start at 500 pieces per style and colour. We can split sizes across a size set, and for first orders we often accept a mixed-colour run to help you test the market.
