Custom T-Shirt for the Latin American Market — Chiffon with Pleating
We supply t-shirt to latin american buyers built for Patagonian cold winds. Cloth weight, weave openness and colour fastness are specified for the climate first: Chiffon at 90-120 gsm, shade-matched to hold through the Brazilian summer selling window. Programmes start at 300 pieces per style per colour and ship to Manzanillo or Veracruz.
The failures here are predictable: suppliers who disappear once the deposit is paid, and packaging that arrives crushed and unsellable. We lock the specification before bulk — weight, shrinkage, stitch density and tolerance — and prepare the conformity documents for Mexico so containers clear instead of accruing demurrage while the Brazilian summer selling window passes.

Import, duty and delivery
Argentine S-Mark safety certification is arranged before the goods leave the factory. We ship to Manzanillo or Veracruz with the commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin. Import duty and tax in the region are high — landed cost including the NCM tariff line is quoted before you commit, and instalment-friendly production schedules are planned around retail cash flow.
FAQ
Do you provide compliance documents?
We can arrange OEKO-TEX, GOTS, BSCI, WRAP and ISO documentation as well as third-party testing reports for NOM-004 textile labelling, and we support REACH, CPSIA and Prop 65 declarations for the relevant markets.
How is shipping handled?
We quote EXW, FOB, CIF and DDP. Consolidated sea freight is the default for bulk programmes, with air or express options when a launch date is at risk.
What file formats do you need for artwork?
Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) give the best print and embroidery results. For raster artwork please supply at least 300 dpi at the final print size. We digitise embroidery files in-house and return a sew-out photo for approval.
How long does sampling take?
A first prototype is typically ready in 10 working days after the tech pack is confirmed, including fabric sourcing if the base cloth is not in our stock library. Revisions add about 5 days each.
