Custom Suit for the Latin American Market — Linen with Tie-Dye Wash
We supply suit to latin american buyers built for Andean altitude with strong UV. Cloth weight, weave openness and colour fastness are specified for the climate first: Linen at 120-150 gsm, shade-matched to hold through back-to-school uniform replenishment. Programmes start at 200 pieces per style per colour and ship to Buenos Aires.
The failures here are predictable: long lead times that miss the selling season, and no reliable way to track a order once it enters production. We lock the specification before bulk — weight, shrinkage, stitch density and tolerance — and prepare the conformity documents for Argentina so containers clear instead of accruing demurrage while back-to-school uniform replenishment passes.

Import, duty and delivery
Mercosur NCM classification with Spanish or Portuguese labelling is arranged before the goods leave the factory. We ship to Buenos Aires with the commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin. Import duty and tax in the region are high — landed cost including the NCM tariff line is quoted before you commit, and instalment-friendly production schedules are planned around retail cash flow.
FAQ
Can you match a specific colour?
Yes. Send us a Pantone TCX reference or a physical swatch. We return lab dips for approval and hold bulk shade within the agreed tolerance band before cutting.
What file formats do you need for artwork?
Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) give the best print and embroidery results. For raster artwork please supply at least 300 dpi at the final print size. We digitise embroidery files in-house and return a sew-out photo for approval.
How long does sampling take?
A first prototype is typically ready in 12 working days after the tech pack is confirmed, including fabric sourcing if the base cloth is not in our stock library. Revisions add about 4 days each.
Do you provide compliance documents?
We can arrange OEKO-TEX, GOTS, BSCI, WRAP and ISO documentation as well as third-party testing reports for INMETRO textile labelling, and we support REACH, CPSIA and Prop 65 declarations for the relevant markets.
