Custom Ethnic & Folk Apparel for the European Market — French Terry with Custom Zip Puller
We supply ethnic & folk apparel to European buyers built for alpine conditions with rapid weather swings. Cloth weight, fibre composition and finish are specified for the season and the standard before price: French Terry at 180-210 gsm, with restricted-substance screening and documentation prepared for the destination market. Programmes start at 150 pieces per style per colour and ship to Hamburg or Gdańsk.
European programmes fail on paperwork more often than on product: long lead times that miss the selling season, and packaging that arrives crushed and unsellable. We fix the specification first — fabric weight, shrinkage, stitch density and measurement tolerance — then prepare EU GPSR with CE documentation where the line is PPE so the goods clear customs and pass buyer audit without a second round of testing.

Sustainability and documentation
European buyers are asked for evidence, not assurances. We can supply Bluesign approved inputs documentation, recycled-content claims with transaction certificates where the fibre qualifies, and test reports from accredited labs. Fibre composition, care symbols and country of origin are printed in the languages your market requires, and the technical file is held for reorders.

Delivery, duty and VAT
Shipments move to Hamburg or Gdańsk under EXW, FOB, CIF or DDP. For EU and UK destinations we quote landed cost including duty and import VAT, and provide the commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin needed for clearance. Reorders draw on the approved specification held on file, which keeps ethnic & folk apparel batches consistent across seasons.
FAQ
Can you match a specific colour?
Yes. Send us a Pantone TCX reference or a physical swatch. We return lab dips for approval and hold bulk shade within the agreed tolerance band before cutting.
Do you provide compliance documents?
We can arrange OEKO-TEX, GOTS, BSCI, WRAP and ISO documentation as well as third-party testing reports for Bluesign approved inputs, and we support REACH, CPSIA and Prop 65 declarations for the relevant markets.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Standard programmes start at 150 pieces per style and colour. We can split sizes across a size set, and for first orders we often accept a mixed-colour run to help you test the market.
What file formats do you need for artwork?
Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) give the best print and embroidery results. For raster artwork please supply at least 300 dpi at the final print size. We digitise embroidery files in-house and return a sew-out photo for approval.
