Custom Ethnic Belts & Accessories — Linen with Patchwork Construction
We make ethnic belts & accessories built around west african adinkra symbols, produced in Linen with Patchwork Construction. Ethnic accessory programmes fail on the details: bead count per motif, stitch density, trim weight and colour matching all have to hold across a repeat order, so we set them in the tech pack and confirm them on a sample before bulk. Programmes start at 500 pieces per style per colour and ship to Lagos or Durban.
The failures here are predictable: minimum order quantities far above what a growing brand can absorb, and inconsistent sizing between production runs. We lock the specification before bulk — materials, trim attachment strength, dye lot and tolerance — and prepare SONCAP so shipments clear instead of sitting at port while Eid and wedding gifting demand passes.

Import, duty and delivery
SONCAP or PVoC pre-export verification is arranged before the goods leave the factory. We ship to Lagos or Durban with the commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, and quote landed cost so duty and tax are visible before you commit. Reorders draw on the approved specification held on file — which matters when you are buying against Eid and wedding gifting demand.
FAQ
What file formats do you need for artwork?
Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) give the best print and embroidery results. For raster artwork please supply at least 300 dpi at the final print size. We digitise embroidery files in-house and return a sew-out photo for approval.
How is shipping handled?
We quote EXW, FOB, CIF and DDP. Consolidated sea freight is the default for bulk programmes, with air or express options when a launch date is at risk.
Do you provide compliance documents?
We can arrange OEKO-TEX, GOTS, BSCI, WRAP and ISO documentation as well as third-party testing reports for OEKO-TEX Standard 100 for dyes and trims, and we support REACH, CPSIA and Prop 65 declarations for the relevant markets.
How long does sampling take?
A first prototype is typically ready in 7 working days after the tech pack is confirmed, including fabric sourcing if the base cloth is not in our stock library. Revisions add about 5 days each.
