Custom Skirt for the Middle Eastern Market — Silk Charmeuse with Sequin Work
We supply skirt to middle eastern buyers built for Red Sea coastal humidity. Cloth weight, weave openness and colour fastness are specified for the climate first: Silk Charmeuse at 120-150 gsm, shade-matched to hold through the Umrah travel season running year round. Programmes start at 150 pieces per style per colour and ship to Jebel Ali.
The failures here are predictable: no reliable way to track a order once it enters production, and packaging that arrives crushed and unsellable. We lock the specification before bulk — weight, shrinkage, stitch density and tolerance — and prepare the conformity documents for the UAE so containers clear instead of accruing demurrage while the Umrah travel season running year round passes.

Import, duty and delivery
SASO conformity with a SABER certificate of conformity is arranged before the goods leave the factory. We ship to Jebel Ali with the commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin. Coverage, opacity and drape are fixed before cloth is chosen, so the garment breathes in extreme heat while staying opaque in strong light. Arabic labelling and the SABER certificate are prepared before the container sails.
FAQ
What is the minimum order quantity?
Standard programmes start at 150 pieces per style and colour. We can split sizes across a size set, and for first orders we often accept a mixed-colour run to help you test the market.
How long does sampling take?
A first prototype is typically ready in 12 working days after the tech pack is confirmed, including fabric sourcing if the base cloth is not in our stock library. Revisions add about 3 days each.
Can you match a specific colour?
Yes. Send us a Pantone TCX reference or a physical swatch. We return lab dips for approval and hold bulk shade within the agreed tolerance band before cutting.
Do you provide compliance documents?
We can arrange OEKO-TEX, GOTS, BSCI, WRAP and ISO documentation as well as third-party testing reports for colour fastness to light for strong Gulf sun, and we support REACH, CPSIA and Prop 65 declarations for the relevant markets.
