Custom Ethnic & Folk Apparel for the Latin American Market — Organza with Piece Dyeing
We supply ethnic & folk apparel to latin american buyers built for Patagonian cold winds. Cloth weight, weave openness and colour fastness are specified for the climate first: Organza at 90-120 gsm, shade-matched to hold through Christmas and holiday retail. Programmes start at 300 pieces per style per colour and ship to Santos.
The failures here are predictable: no reliable way to track a order once it enters production, and inconsistent sizing between production runs. We lock the specification before bulk — weight, shrinkage, stitch density and tolerance — and prepare the conformity documents for Brazil so containers clear instead of accruing demurrage while Christmas and holiday retail passes.

Import, duty and delivery
INMETRO conformity for the Brazilian market is arranged before the goods leave the factory. We ship to Santos with the commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin. Import duty and tax in the region are high — landed cost including the NCM tariff line is quoted before you commit, and instalment-friendly production schedules are planned around retail cash flow.
FAQ
What is the minimum order quantity?
Standard programmes start at 300 pieces per style and colour. We can split sizes across a size set, and for first orders we often accept a mixed-colour run to help you test the market.
How is shipping handled?
We quote EXW, FOB, CIF and DDP. Consolidated sea freight is the default for bulk programmes, with air or express options when a launch date is at risk.
How long does sampling take?
A first prototype is typically ready in 7 working days after the tech pack is confirmed, including fabric sourcing if the base cloth is not in our stock library. Revisions add about 3 days each.
What file formats do you need for artwork?
Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) give the best print and embroidery results. For raster artwork please supply at least 300 dpi at the final print size. We digitise embroidery files in-house and return a sew-out photo for approval.
