Custom Skirt for the Latin American Market — French Linen with Placement Printing
We supply skirt to latin american buyers built for Patagonian cold winds. Cloth weight, weave openness and colour fastness are specified for the climate first: French Linen at 210-260 gsm, shade-matched to hold through Christmas and holiday retail. Programmes start at 150 pieces per style per colour and ship to Manzanillo or Veracruz.
The failures here are predictable: minimum order quantities far above what a growing brand can absorb, and color drift between lab dips and bulk fabric. We lock the specification before bulk — weight, shrinkage, stitch density and tolerance — and prepare the conformity documents for Mexico so containers clear instead of accruing demurrage while Christmas and holiday retail passes.

Import, duty and delivery
INMETRO conformity for the Brazilian market is arranged before the goods leave the factory. We ship to Manzanillo or Veracruz with the commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin. Import duty and tax in the region are high — landed cost including the NCM tariff line is quoted before you commit, and instalment-friendly production schedules are planned around retail cash flow.
FAQ
How long does sampling take?
A first prototype is typically ready in 12 working days after the tech pack is confirmed, including fabric sourcing if the base cloth is not in our stock library. Revisions add about 5 days each.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Standard programmes start at 150 pieces per style and colour. We can split sizes across a size set, and for first orders we often accept a mixed-colour run to help you test the market.
Can you match a specific colour?
Yes. Send us a Pantone TCX reference or a physical swatch. We return lab dips for approval and hold bulk shade within the agreed tolerance band before cutting.
What file formats do you need for artwork?
Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) give the best print and embroidery results. For raster artwork please supply at least 300 dpi at the final print size. We digitise embroidery files in-house and return a sew-out photo for approval.
