Custom Skirt for the Russian and Central Asian Market — Jersey Knit with Smocking
We supply skirt to russian and central asian buyers built for Central Asian continental summers. Cloth weight, weave openness and colour fastness are specified for the climate first: Jersey Knit at 160-200 gsm, shade-matched to hold through the autumn-winter outerwear peak. Programmes start at 150 pieces per style per colour and ship to Moscow logistics hub.
The failures here are predictable: long lead times that miss the selling season, and minimum order quantities far above what a growing brand can absorb. We lock the specification before bulk — weight, shrinkage, stitch density and tolerance — and prepare the conformity documents for Russia so containers clear instead of accruing demurrage while the autumn-winter outerwear peak passes.

Import, duty and delivery
Russian-language labelling and care symbols is arranged before the goods leave the factory. We ship to Moscow logistics hub with the commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin. Shipments into the Eurasian Economic Union carry EAC marking and Russian-language labelling, and light-industry goods require the Honest Sign digital code before they can be sold — we register codes and apply them in packing so marketplace inbound is not rejected.
FAQ
Can you match a specific colour?
Yes. Send us a Pantone TCX reference or a physical swatch. We return lab dips for approval and hold bulk shade within the agreed tolerance band before cutting.
Do you provide compliance documents?
We can arrange OEKO-TEX, GOTS, BSCI, WRAP and ISO documentation as well as third-party testing reports for cold-weather colour and dimensional stability, and we support REACH, CPSIA and Prop 65 declarations for the relevant markets.
How long does sampling take?
A first prototype is typically ready in 14 working days after the tech pack is confirmed, including fabric sourcing if the base cloth is not in our stock library. Revisions add about 3 days each.
How is shipping handled?
We quote EXW, FOB, CIF and DDP. Consolidated sea freight is the default for bulk programmes, with air or express options when a launch date is at risk.
