Custom Ethnic & Folk Apparel for the European Market — Oxford with Ribbed Cuff and Hem
We supply ethnic & folk apparel to European buyers built for continental winters well below freezing. Cloth weight, fibre composition and finish are specified for the season and the standard before price: Oxford at 340-420 gsm, with restricted-substance screening and documentation prepared for the destination market. Programmes start at 100 pieces per style per colour and ship to Rotterdam or Antwerp.
European programmes fail on paperwork more often than on product: suppliers who disappear once the deposit is paid, and inconsistent sizing between production runs. We fix the specification first — fabric weight, shrinkage, stitch density and measurement tolerance — then prepare EU GPSR and REACH compliance with multilingual labelling so the goods clear customs and pass buyer audit without a second round of testing.

- Oxford-spec prototype graded to EU 34-52
- Fit sample and wearer test, then a pre-production sample
- Bulk cutting with ribbed cuff and hem applied under controlled settings
- In-line inspection, final AQL 2.5 inspection and packing to EU carton specification
Sustainability and documentation
European buyers are asked for evidence, not assurances. We can supply EN 11612 heat and flame protection documentation, recycled-content claims with transaction certificates where the fibre qualifies, and test reports from accredited labs. Fibre composition, care symbols and country of origin are printed in the languages your market requires, and the technical file is held for reorders.

Delivery, duty and VAT
Shipments move to Rotterdam or Antwerp under EXW, FOB, CIF or DDP. For EU and UK destinations we quote landed cost including duty and import VAT, and provide the commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin needed for clearance. Reorders draw on the approved specification held on file, which keeps ethnic & folk apparel batches consistent across seasons.
FAQ
How long does sampling take?
A first prototype is typically ready in 12 working days after the tech pack is confirmed, including fabric sourcing if the base cloth is not in our stock library. Revisions add about 3 days each.
Can you match a specific colour?
Yes. Send us a Pantone TCX reference or a physical swatch. We return lab dips for approval and hold bulk shade within the agreed tolerance band before cutting.
Do you provide compliance documents?
We can arrange OEKO-TEX, GOTS, BSCI, WRAP and ISO documentation as well as third-party testing reports for EN 11612 heat and flame protection, and we support REACH, CPSIA and Prop 65 declarations for the relevant markets.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Standard programmes start at 100 pieces per style and colour. We can split sizes across a size set, and for first orders we often accept a mixed-colour run to help you test the market.
