Custom Ethnic & Folk Apparel for the European Market — Oxford with Ribbed Cuff and Hem
We supply ethnic & folk apparel to European buyers built for long Nordic winters and short summers. Cloth weight, fibre composition and finish are specified for the season and the standard before price: Oxford at 280-320 gsm, with restricted-substance screening and documentation prepared for the destination market. Programmes start at 150 pieces per style per colour and ship to Rotterdam or Antwerp.
European programmes fail on paperwork more often than on product: packaging that arrives crushed and unsellable, and suppliers who disappear once the deposit is paid. We fix the specification first — fabric weight, shrinkage, stitch density and measurement tolerance — then prepare EU GPSR and REACH compliance with multilingual labelling so the goods clear customs and pass buyer audit without a second round of testing.

Sustainability and documentation
European buyers are asked for evidence, not assurances. We can supply EU GPSR technical documentation documentation, recycled-content claims with transaction certificates where the fibre qualifies, and test reports from accredited labs. Fibre composition, care symbols and country of origin are printed in the languages your market requires, and the technical file is held for reorders.

Delivery, duty and VAT
Shipments move to Rotterdam or Antwerp under EXW, FOB, CIF or DDP. For EU and UK destinations we quote landed cost including duty and import VAT, and provide the commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin needed for clearance. Reorders draw on the approved specification held on file, which keeps ethnic & folk apparel batches consistent across seasons.
FAQ
Do you provide compliance documents?
We can arrange OEKO-TEX, GOTS, BSCI, WRAP and ISO documentation as well as third-party testing reports for EU GPSR technical documentation, and we support REACH, CPSIA and Prop 65 declarations for the relevant markets.
How long does sampling take?
A first prototype is typically ready in 12 working days after the tech pack is confirmed, including fabric sourcing if the base cloth is not in our stock library. Revisions add about 3 days each.
Can you match a specific colour?
Yes. Send us a Pantone TCX reference or a physical swatch. We return lab dips for approval and hold bulk shade within the agreed tolerance band before cutting.
What file formats do you need for artwork?
Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) give the best print and embroidery results. For raster artwork please supply at least 300 dpi at the final print size. We digitise embroidery files in-house and return a sew-out photo for approval.
