Custom Ethnic & Folk Apparel for the India and Pakistan Market — French Linen with Flocking
We supply ethnic & folk apparel to South Asian buyers built for dry desert heat in Rajasthan and Sindh. Cloth weight, weave openness and colour fastness are specified for heat, humidity and repeated hand washing first: French Linen at 210-260 gsm, shade-matched to hold under strong sun and monsoon humidity. Programmes start at 200 pieces per style per colour and ship to Nhava Sheva or Chennai.
The failures here are predictable: minimum order quantities far above what a growing brand can absorb, and no reliable way to track a order once it enters production. We lock the specification before bulk — weight, shrinkage, stitch density and tolerance — and prepare BIS so containers clear instead of accruing demurrage during Eid and Ramadan collections.

Import, duty and delivery
BIS compliance with IEC-registered import documentation is arranged before the goods leave the factory. We ship to Nhava Sheva or Chennai with the commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, and quote landed cost so duty and GST or sales tax are visible before you commit. Reorders draw on the approved specification held on file — which matters when you are buying against Eid and Ramadan collections.
FAQ
How long does sampling take?
A first prototype is typically ready in 14 working days after the tech pack is confirmed, including fabric sourcing if the base cloth is not in our stock library. Revisions add about 3 days each.
Can you match a specific colour?
Yes. Send us a Pantone TCX reference or a physical swatch. We return lab dips for approval and hold bulk shade within the agreed tolerance band before cutting.
What file formats do you need for artwork?
Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) give the best print and embroidery results. For raster artwork please supply at least 300 dpi at the final print size. We digitise embroidery files in-house and return a sew-out photo for approval.
Do you provide compliance documents?
We can arrange OEKO-TEX, GOTS, BSCI, WRAP and ISO documentation as well as third-party testing reports for GRS recycled content claim, and we support REACH, CPSIA and Prop 65 declarations for the relevant markets.
