Custom Ethnic & Folk Apparel for the India and Pakistan Market — Eyelet with Chenille Embroidery

We supply ethnic & folk apparel to South Asian buyers built for humid coastal tropical conditions. Cloth weight, weave openness and colour fastness are specified for heat, humidity and repeated hand washing first: Eyelet at 120-150 gsm, shade-matched to hold under strong sun and monsoon humidity. Programmes start at 150 pieces per style per colour and ship to Mumbai or Karachi.

The failures here are predictable: inconsistent sizing between production runs, and packaging that arrives crushed and unsellable. We lock the specification before bulk — weight, shrinkage, stitch density and tolerance — and prepare BIS so containers clear instead of accruing demurrage during the wedding and Navratri gifting window.

Import, duty and delivery

BIS or PSQCA documentation per final destination is arranged before the goods leave the factory. We ship to Mumbai or Karachi with the commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, and quote landed cost so duty and GST or sales tax are visible before you commit. Reorders draw on the approved specification held on file — which matters when you are buying against the wedding and Navratri gifting window.

FAQ

How is shipping handled?

We quote EXW, FOB, CIF and DDP. Consolidated sea freight is the default for bulk programmes, with air or express options when a launch date is at risk.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Standard programmes start at 150 pieces per style and colour. We can split sizes across a size set, and for first orders we often accept a mixed-colour run to help you test the market.

How long does sampling take?

A first prototype is typically ready in 14 working days after the tech pack is confirmed, including fabric sourcing if the base cloth is not in our stock library. Revisions add about 5 days each.

What file formats do you need for artwork?

Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) give the best print and embroidery results. For raster artwork please supply at least 300 dpi at the final print size. We digitise embroidery files in-house and return a sew-out photo for approval.
