Custom Ethnic & Folk Apparel for the Middle Eastern Market — Rib Knit with DTG Digital Printing
We supply ethnic & folk apparel to middle eastern buyers built for Nile Valley heat. Cloth weight, weave openness and colour fastness are specified for the climate first: Rib Knit at 120-150 gsm, shade-matched to hold through the winter mild-weather retail window. Programmes start at 100 pieces per style per colour and ship to Alexandria or Port Said.
The failures here are predictable: inconsistent sizing between production runs, and color drift between lab dips and bulk fabric. We lock the specification before bulk — weight, shrinkage, stitch density and tolerance — and prepare the conformity documents for Egypt so containers clear instead of accruing demurrage while the winter mild-weather retail window passes.

Import, duty and delivery
Egyptian GOEIC registration for textile imports is arranged before the goods leave the factory. We ship to Alexandria or Port Said with the commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin. Coverage, opacity and drape are fixed before cloth is chosen, so the garment breathes in extreme heat while staying opaque in strong light. Arabic labelling and the SABER certificate are prepared before the container sails.
FAQ
Do you provide compliance documents?
We can arrange OEKO-TEX, GOTS, BSCI, WRAP and ISO documentation as well as third-party testing reports for SABER shipment certificate of conformity, and we support REACH, CPSIA and Prop 65 declarations for the relevant markets.
How long does sampling take?
A first prototype is typically ready in 10 working days after the tech pack is confirmed, including fabric sourcing if the base cloth is not in our stock library. Revisions add about 3 days each.
How is shipping handled?
We quote EXW, FOB, CIF and DDP. Consolidated sea freight is the default for bulk programmes, with air or express options when a launch date is at risk.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Standard programmes start at 100 pieces per style and colour. We can split sizes across a size set, and for first orders we often accept a mixed-colour run to help you test the market.
