Custom Skirt for the Latin American Market — Moisture-Wicking Knit with Yarn Dyeing
We supply skirt to latin american buyers built for coastal resort humidity. Cloth weight, weave openness and colour fastness are specified for the climate first: Moisture-Wicking Knit at 160-200 gsm, shade-matched to hold through the resort and beachwear season. Programmes start at 100 pieces per style per colour and ship to Buenos Aires.
The failures here are predictable: packaging that arrives crushed and unsellable, and color drift between lab dips and bulk fabric. We lock the specification before bulk — weight, shrinkage, stitch density and tolerance — and prepare the conformity documents for Argentina so containers clear instead of accruing demurrage while the resort and beachwear season passes.

Import, duty and delivery
Mercosur NCM classification with Spanish or Portuguese labelling is arranged before the goods leave the factory. We ship to Buenos Aires with the commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin. Import duty and tax in the region are high — landed cost including the NCM tariff line is quoted before you commit, and instalment-friendly production schedules are planned around retail cash flow.
FAQ
What file formats do you need for artwork?
Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) give the best print and embroidery results. For raster artwork please supply at least 300 dpi at the final print size. We digitise embroidery files in-house and return a sew-out photo for approval.
Do you provide compliance documents?
We can arrange OEKO-TEX, GOTS, BSCI, WRAP and ISO documentation as well as third-party testing reports for OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and we support REACH, CPSIA and Prop 65 declarations for the relevant markets.
How long does sampling take?
A first prototype is typically ready in 7 working days after the tech pack is confirmed, including fabric sourcing if the base cloth is not in our stock library. Revisions add about 3 days each.
How is shipping handled?
We quote EXW, FOB, CIF and DDP. Consolidated sea freight is the default for bulk programmes, with air or express options when a launch date is at risk.
