Custom Skirt for the Middle Eastern Market — Cupro with Tonal Embroidery
We supply skirt to middle eastern buyers built for air-conditioned interiors against outdoor extremes. Cloth weight, weave openness and colour fastness are specified for the climate first: Cupro at 210-260 gsm, shade-matched to hold through the Umrah travel season running year round. Programmes start at 300 pieces per style per colour and ship to Jebel Ali.
The failures here are predictable: no reliable way to track a order once it enters production, and unclear responsibility when a defect shows up after washing. We lock the specification before bulk — weight, shrinkage, stitch density and tolerance — and prepare the conformity documents for the UAE so containers clear instead of accruing demurrage while the Umrah travel season running year round passes.

Import, duty and delivery
SASO conformity with a SABER certificate of conformity is arranged before the goods leave the factory. We ship to Jebel Ali with the commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin. Coverage, opacity and drape are fixed before cloth is chosen, so the garment breathes in extreme heat while staying opaque in strong light. Arabic labelling and the SABER certificate are prepared before the container sails.
FAQ
Can you match a specific colour?
Yes. Send us a Pantone TCX reference or a physical swatch. We return lab dips for approval and hold bulk shade within the agreed tolerance band before cutting.
How long does sampling take?
A first prototype is typically ready in 7 working days after the tech pack is confirmed, including fabric sourcing if the base cloth is not in our stock library. Revisions add about 4 days each.
Do you provide compliance documents?
We can arrange OEKO-TEX, GOTS, BSCI, WRAP and ISO documentation as well as third-party testing reports for colour fastness to light for strong Gulf sun, and we support REACH, CPSIA and Prop 65 declarations for the relevant markets.
What file formats do you need for artwork?
Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) give the best print and embroidery results. For raster artwork please supply at least 300 dpi at the final print size. We digitise embroidery files in-house and return a sew-out photo for approval.
