Custom Traditional Chinese Skirt — Ramie (China Grass) with Cloud Collar (Yunjian) Overlay
We make traditional Chinese skirt built as tang jacket with bound edges, cut in Ramie (China Grass) and decorated with sea-water and mountain cliff borders (haishui jiangya) motifs using Cloud Collar (Yunjian) Overlay. Heritage construction is the part buyers care about: collar height, closing direction, pleat count and bound edge width are set in the tech pack and confirmed on a sample before bulk. Programmes start at 500 pieces per style per colour and ship to Shanghai or Shenzhen.
The failures here are predictable: long lead times that miss the selling season, and color drift between lab dips and bulk fabric. We lock the specification before bulk — fabric, trim, embroidery density, dye lot and tolerance — and prepare the GB documentation so goods clear instead of sitting at port while the Chinese wedding season around May Day and National Day passes.

Import, labelling and delivery
GB 18401 national textile safety classification with GB/T 29862 fibre labelling is arranged before the goods leave the factory. We ship to Shanghai or Shenzhen with the commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, and apply Chinese-language care and fibre labelling where the destination requires it. Reorders draw on the approved specification held on file — which matters when you are buying against the Chinese wedding season around May Day and National Day.
FAQ
What is the minimum order quantity?
Standard programmes start at 500 pieces per style and colour. We can split sizes across a size set, and for first orders we often accept a mixed-colour run to help you test the market.
How is shipping handled?
We quote EXW, FOB, CIF and DDP. Consolidated sea freight is the default for bulk programmes, with air or express options when a launch date is at risk.
What file formats do you need for artwork?
Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) give the best print and embroidery results. For raster artwork please supply at least 300 dpi at the final print size. We digitise embroidery files in-house and return a sew-out photo for approval.
Do you provide compliance documents?
We can arrange OEKO-TEX, GOTS, BSCI, WRAP and ISO documentation as well as third-party testing reports for GB 18401 class A/B/C safety classification, and we support REACH, CPSIA and Prop 65 declarations for the relevant markets.
