Custom Skirt for the Asia-Pacific Islands Market — Jersey Knit with Ruching
We supply skirt to island-market buyers built for warm humid days and air-conditioned interiors. Cloth weight, openness of weave and colour fastness are specified for heat, humidity and salt air first: Jersey Knit at 110-140 gsm, shade-matched to hold up under strong UV, chlorinated water and frequent laundering. Programmes start at 150 pieces per style per colour and ship to Sydney or Auckland.
The failure modes in this region are consistent: suppliers who disappear once the deposit is paid, and minimum order quantities far above what a growing brand can absorb. We lock the specification before bulk — weight, shrinkage, stitch density and tolerance — and prepare the documents Australian requires, so containers clear instead of accruing demurrage at the port.

Import, duty and delivery
Australian consumer goods labelling is arranged before the goods leave the factory. We ship LCL or FCL to Sydney or Auckland, provide the commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, and quote landed cost so duty and GST are visible before you commit. Reorders draw on the approved specification held on file, which matters for resort programmes that reorder every season.
FAQ
What file formats do you need for artwork?
Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) give the best print and embroidery results. For raster artwork please supply at least 300 dpi at the final print size. We digitise embroidery files in-house and return a sew-out photo for approval.
How long does sampling take?
A first prototype is typically ready in 7 working days after the tech pack is confirmed, including fabric sourcing if the base cloth is not in our stock library. Revisions add about 3 days each.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Standard programmes start at 150 pieces per style and colour. We can split sizes across a size set, and for first orders we often accept a mixed-colour run to help you test the market.
How is shipping handled?
We quote EXW, FOB, CIF and DDP. Consolidated sea freight is the default for bulk programmes, with air or express options when a launch date is at risk.
